📸 Day 4: Orange Trying to choose bolder colors for things I wear or carry around. This is my orange lunchbox, which goes with my orange water bottle, which goes with my army-green-on-the-outside-orange-on-the-inside man purse. Not fascinating, but still, orange you glad I didn’t say banana?

I took this photo of Maggie in 2017 when she’d fallen asleep on Michael’s pillow. It was 2:00pm according to the time stamp, and in March of that year. She looks smaller than she actually is.
I always liked the kind of soft glow the sun cast on her from the window.

The Prince Estate is re-releasing Diamonds and Pearls with a super deluxe edition and I can’t wait. I don’t listen to it often these days, but it was very influential to me in my formative years. For my 7th grade art project we had to draw something special as a still life. I was and still am a terrible drawer, but I brought in a sampling of my Prince collection at the time.
🥸 Randy Newman really wrote some scathing satire in his day. I quite love it. (Short People has always been a favorite but I’ve been exploring his catalog a little more deeply and have been really liking it.)
I quite like the pink one.

I gave this 2014 release by Cibo Matto a good listen the other day and really enjoyed it. I think I’m going to incorporate it into my rotation more regularly. Plus I friggin' love concept albums.
