Today’s my dad’s birthday. We had a very painful, strained, damaging relationship around the time this photo was taken what with him being him and me being me. But over time we have grown closer. His acceptance of me and his feelings of pride about me mean a lot. We still fight over politics. 🔴🐘🔵🫏
