What I’m Doing For the month of April, I’m changing my active social media account profile photos to a photo of me in drag. Why I’m Doing It Drag is one thread in the rich tapestry of LGBTQ+ culture, and LGBTQ+ culture is under attack. From banning books in schools and libraries with LGBTQ+ themes to pending and enacted legislation banning drag performances, our community is being actively censored, canceled, and denied free speech rights protected by the First Amendment.
📸 March Photo Challenge #31: Practice. My favorite photo of my husband. I cried when I saw what I’d captured. I hope with more practice I’ll be able to take even better iPhoneography pictures. Maybe even get a “real” camera one day.
