I made a new friend.

That is not always easy to do when you’re a middle-aged adult. Or when you’re neurodivergent. Or when you’re neurotypical. Or when you’re a kid. Or when you’re an older person.

I imagine it is pretty easy when you are a Golden Retriever puppy, though.
