What's a song that you like but most of your friends don't.
Hm. Most of my friends like similar music as me. Not all, but most. (Not counting acquaintances here.)
The best I can figure is Husband’s aversion to Courtney Love.
I say, “It’s a commentary on the social construct of femininity, a middle finger to patriarchal expectations of what it means to look and sound and dress like a woman. It’s ugly and imperfect on purpose because it’s meant to sound raw and dissonant, but sometimes there’s some real beauty and truth in the place where dissonance and amplified distortion reside.”
“It’s just yelling,” he says.
I guess we’re both right.
